In the mountains of North Carolina, there's this nice little place called Buck Creek. One of my favorite camping spots. Buck Creek is a small mountain stream, and at night, the sounds of the creek just lull you right to sleep! Never a problem sleeping next to Buck Creek, it's La-La Land for sure! Better than any sleeping pill.
Since I liked the place so much, I recorded the sounds of the creek for myself, in high fidelity, 44.1 kHz, 16 bit stereo sound. I happened to mention the recordings to a neighbor, and uploaded the files for him. I have left those same files in place for you to download for free. These are great to cover up the sounds you DON'T want to hear when you're sleeping - I use it all the time! So I offer them here, for your own sleeping pleasure, just download direct from the following links.
These are two different MP3 sound files, not two or three minute clips, each file is over an hour and a half long. And the better your speakers are, the better they will sound.

The one "@Dawn" includes the sounds of not only the water of the creek, but the sounds of crickets, frogs and several other kinds of birds. The other one, "@Night" has mostly only the sounds of the creek flowing by. If you can't download these two large files, send me one US dollar and your name and address and I'll send you a disk loaded with both files.
